04:00 PM – Boudhanath Stupa — 46m dome, largest stupa in South Asia, prayer wheel circuit (entry ~NPR 400)

06:00 PM – Thamel neighbourhood — evening dinner, explore vibrant backpacker district

Overnight: Kathmandu

Day 2Kathmandu Valley

09:00 AM – Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) — hilltop stupa, great city views, resident monkeys

11:00 AM – Patan Durbar Square (UNESCO) — medieval palace & Newari temples (entry NPR 1,000)

01:00 PM – Lunch at Patan café quarter (try Newari sel roti & choila)

02:30 PM – Kathmandu Durbar Square — Kumari Chowk, Kasthamandap temple (UNESCO, entry NPR 1,000)

04:30 PM – Asan Bazaar — spice market, local street food & Nepali thanka art shops

Overnight: Kathmandu

Day 3Kathmandu → Pokhara

07:00 AM – Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (200 km, 6–7 hrs via scenic Prithvi Highway)

01:00 PM – Arrive Pokhara, check-in & lunch

03:00 PM – Phewa Lake boat ride to Tal Barahi Temple — island temple on the lake
