Travelling With Family

Meghalaya with Kids & Parents,
Planned Properly

A family trip fails on small things — a missed washroom stop, a car-sick child, a viewpoint that turned out to be a trek. We plan around all of it, because our drivers do this every week with families just like yours.

🚻

Washroom-planned days

Every route is planned around clean washroom stops — we know exactly where they are between Guwahati, Shillong, Sohra and Dawki.

🤢

Motion-sickness ready

Mountain curves are real. Every cab carries ginger candy, mints, wet wipes and sick bags — and drivers take the gentle line on request.

🩹

First-aid in every cab

Bandages, antiseptic, ORS, paracetamol — always stocked. Tell us about any medical needs and the driver is briefed before pickup.

🥤

Water & snacks daily

1 water bottle + 1 snack per person per day, complimentary on standard bookings.

🐢

Kid & grandparent pace

We tell you honestly which spots involve stairs or treks — and build days that never rush anyone. Late starts welcome.

🚗

The right vehicle

Ertiga for most families (up to 6), Innova for 7 or extra comfort. Child seats — ask on WhatsApp and we arrange subject to availability.

The honest bit — what we'll steer you away from

The Double Decker Root Bridge trek is 3,000+ steep steps each way — magnificent, but not for young children or grandparents with knee trouble. Caves involve uneven wet floors. If a spot won't suit your group, we'll say so before you book and suggest what works instead — Meghalaya has spectacular viewpoints that need nothing more than stepping out of the car.
