Our Story
We started Meghalaya Cabs because we saw what travelling in the Northeast actually looked like — tourists waiting for hours at taxi stands, getting passed to a different driver on each leg, no one explaining the permit rules or which waterfall was worth the detour.
We grew up here. Our drivers were born here. We know which viewpoint catches the morning light, which road turns impassable after rain, and which roadside stall your family will still be talking about six months later. That knowledge doesn't come from Google Maps — it comes from years of living in and driving through these hills.
