Day 1Guwahati → Itanagar

07:00 AM – Pickup from Guwahati (ILP permit required for Arunachal Pradesh)

11:30 AM – Arrive Itanagar (190 km, ~4–5 hrs via NH-27)

12:30 PM – Lunch

02:00 PM – Ita Fort — 14th-century fort, name means "brick" in Nyishi language

03:30 PM – Ganga Lake — peaceful forest lake in the city

05:00 PM – Polo Park & craft market (Arunachal tribal textiles)

Overnight: Itanagar/Naharlagun

Day 2Itanagar → Ziro Valley

08:00 AM – Depart for Ziro Valley (115 km, ~3–4 hrs)

12:00 PM – Arrive Ziro, check-in, lunch

01:30 PM – Hari Village — immersive Apatani tribal village walk

03:00 PM – Apatani homesteads — bamboo houses, nose plugs & tattooing tradition (older women)

04:30 PM – Ziro Puto Hill — pine forest trail, panoramic paddy field views

Overnight: Ziro

Day 3Ziro Valley Deep Exploration

08:00 AM – Talley Valley Wildlife Sanctuary hike (7 km from Ziro town)

10:00 AM – Birdwatching — Ziro hosts 350+ species, excellent birding circuit

12:00 PM – Mudang-Tage village — Apatani culture, rice beer (apong) tasting

01:30 PM – Lunch (bamboo shoot curry, rice & local greens)

03:00 PM – Traditional Apatani weaving demonstration

05:00 PM – Kile Pakho bamboo grove — forest walk at dusk

Overnight: Ziro

Day 4Ziro → Namdapha Area

07:00 AM – Long scenic drive (Ziro to Miao ~350 km, 8–9 hrs via Dibrugarh)

En route: cross into Assam briefly, re-enter Arunachal at Miao

PM – Arrive Miao/Deban (Namdapha buffer zone), check-in forest rest house

Evening: Forest walk at buffer zone, fireflies in monsoon season

Overnight: Miao/Deban

Day 5Namdapha National Park

06:00 AM – Early morning birding walk — Namdapha has 425+ bird species, 1,000+ plant species

08:00 AM – Nature trail in buffer zone — spot hornbills, gibbons, clouded leopard tracks

10:00 AM – Hoolock Gibbon sighting — NE India's only ape, best heard at dawn

12:00 PM – Lunch at rest house, pack up

01:00 PM – Drive to Dibrugarh/Tinsukia (~2 hrs)

05:00 PM – Flight from Dibrugarh Airport or overnight train to Guwahati
