💡 Planning tips
- Dawki + Mawlynnong are only 15 km apart — perfect to combine in one day.
- Cherrapunji is 55 km from Shillong but roads are winding — budget 2 hrs each way.
- Double Decker Root Bridge trek takes a full half-day; don't pair with long drives.
- Krang Shuri + Phe Phe Falls (Jaintia Hills) are best on a dedicated east-side day.
- Arunachal, Assam, Bhutan, Nepal & Nagaland trips all start from Guwahati — switch start point above.
